Our Personnel are recruited by our team to bring together the highest calibre of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Apprentices, Skilled Trades, Labourers and Construction Personnel for roles across both Metropolitan and regional Victoria.

Andrew Walker
Managing Director
Andrew is a proud Yorta Yorta man. Following a successful career in the AFL for the Carlton Football Club where he became the First Indigenous player to reach the 200 game milestone in its 160 year history. He was top 5 Best And Fairest 4 times, 2011 leading Goal kicker and Life member, Andrew went on to be Carltons first Indigenous Liaison Officer, RAP advisory Board member and Development coach for 2 years post career.​
Andrew is a successful Business person in his own right as he has developed ground up businesses such as Gravity Shack Family Entertainment centre and worked as managing Director for 3 year. He is also a Director of A2B Personnel.
Melanie Micalizzi
Head of Operations &
Cultural Heritage Lead​

Mel is a Yorta Yorta woman born and raised by the Murray River at Echuca-Moama. Mel is our Program Development Officer.
As an Indigenous entrepreneur who has owned and operated 3 start up businesses in the Health, Fitness & Retail industries Mel aims to use her experiences to positively impact those she engages with.
With a background in Facilitating Financial Literacy & Mindfulness Programs around Australia for First Nations People, Mel also continues her work as Remedial Therapist & Reiki Healer.

Mel's role as Programs Development Officer is to link our candidates with Training for employment and act as the conduit from Jobseeker to Employee status. Mel is always looking for new and groundbreaking ways to improve employment outcomes for our mob.
​
An accredited Mental Health First Aider through Mental Health First Aid Australia, Mel also offers ongoing support to people within our programs.
Troy Imbrogno
Head of Finance
​
Troy is A2B’s finance manager who holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (finance & accounting) from Deakin university and is a fully certified CPA with over 18 years’ experience in private practice along with several corporate finance roles held internationally.
Troy is responsible for A2B’s finance function ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance to all state and federal legislation. Troy is also responsible for providing A2B with a process driven finance department that ensures compliance and accountability for A2B’s finance and payroll functions.

Health & Wellbeing Facilitator​

Troy is a proud Yorta Yorta man. As our Health & Wellbeing Facilitator Troy is a Chiropractor, who also holds a Masters of Nutritional Science and is continuing research in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander health for Deakin University.
​
Dr Troy has created and evolved our A2B Health & Wellbeing Program and App to monitor and maintain the Physical, Mental and Spiritual Health & Wellbeing of our Employees, Apprentices and Trainees, effectively and holistically.
​
Troy is an accredited Mental Health First aider through Mental Health First Aid Australia and our Program is accredited through Indigenous Allied Health Australia.
Mat Walker
Operations Manager
Mat is a proud Yorta Yorta man who grew up in Savernake NSW on the Murray River.
​
Mat moved to Melbourne in 2018 to expand his football potential by being drafted to Hawthorn Football Club since then he has played for North Melbourne VFL and now Williamstown VFL.
​
During this time Mat developed his construction experience with an electrical apprenticeship through A2B. From there, Mat was approached by CEO Andrew Walker to join the team at A2B in the office as Operations Manager.
​
Mat’s role in the team is to support and provide employment and opportunities to his fellow indigenous people.
Will Monahan
Operations Co-Ordinator
​
Will was born and raised in Echuca-Moama, and he completed his entire schooling in his hometown. During this time, Will deeply immersed himself into the community through sport, culture, and volunteer work.
Despite his move to Melbourne in 2016 to attend The University of Melbourne, Will is still actively involved in the community and returns home regularly to play football. Since graduating from university in 2018 with a BA, majoring in Politics & International Relations and Media & Communications, Will has worked in the media and marketing industry.
However, his intrinsic want to help others in addition to his interest in Indigenous Affairs led to taking an opportunity to manage the Apprenticeship opportunities at A2B.
